differences

It is so strange to watch the Beijing Olympic Games here in the US. Every report is about the US, just like everything is about China when I watch TV in China. Lucky the Olympic Games is in China this time, so I can still ocationally hear reports about China. Of course, I can hear both positive and negative reports about China, more negative ones than positive ones, probably. For example, reporters just point out that two Chinese players are only 14 years old, while the Olympic Games is for those above 16. It is more strange than I image when I look at the world in a totally different perspective.

Another special experience is about people with different color here. I’ve heard about confits between different color people. But the situation here is much better than that I image. At least, black here have equal position here with white. They are American. And they are citizens. They have the right to vote. Generally, their economic situation and social position may be not as good as white. There are more ruffians that are black than that are white. But black can gain equal position as long as they want. And they are part of the American culture. They are part of American. Because of the  diversification of the US, it is not surprise that the US is the most innovative country of the world.
